Those are not real androids, the smartest AIs can't do what they seemingly did many years ago. It's just preprogrammed talk.

Jules and Joey Chaos are conversational robots. It's their primary function to speak, it works a bit like cleverbot. I still understand your doubts, though. :3

Well obviously its not a real android in the strictest sense. I doubt we'll get to that point any time soon, if ever.
But it's a step forward, a little one, but it's something.
