This is more of a positive and advice seeking thread as well.
Beginning with the positive:
I learned a few minutes ago that I am now a "CANDIDATE" for the United States Air Force Academy, one of the most selective schools in the country, now all I have to do Is file paperwork, go to an interview, take a Physical test. But it'll all be worth it if I get accepted there.
Advice seeking:
My parents have never been too thrilled about my choice of going into the military, even to pursue my dream of becoming a fighter pilot. So they have asked me to find Civilian schools that have good, solid engineering courses and is somewhat affordable. If the College is in Florida, even better because I get a full ride anywhere in Florida thanks to my grades and the people who play the lottery to pay for it
. But ya, anywhere in the US, and a good solid engineering program. I don't want to screw this up and neither do my parents so I'm asking EVERYONE I KNOW.
Just thought I's share that little tidbit with you guys, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
