Natalie, Head of Biology Research at FoxFire Labs, stood in front of her teammates, wearing her lab coat as she stared in awe at the large egg-shaped machine before her. JURASSIC REVIVAL MACHINE was emblazed on its side and it pulsed with light blue energy. She turned toward a red panda at a terminal roughly 12 feet away. "Reed, begin Revival Test #1." She ordered, earning a nod from the other scientist. "Yes, Miss Ikuze!" He said before pressing a series of buttons and pulling a lever, making the machine starts to pulse red and shake.
Natalie stood back, bracing herself for whatever may happen, when the machine calmed down and the color left it. It slowly opened, and lying inside it was a small black reptile. Natalie stepped over to it, and picked it up, stroking its head so it purred happily. "Men, behold.." She said before holding the lizard up.
"Goji, the first ever dinosaur to roam this Earth in the last 25,000,000 years!"
The scientists applauded, and Natalie looked at the newborn dinosaur in her hands, which was curling up to sleep. "Welcome back, little one. You've been gone for a very long time." She said, stroking its head down to its tail before setting it on a desk and beginning to fill out some paperwork regarding its condition and health. When she reached the line marked "Species", she looked at Goji. She spotted certain characteristics that made her feel a little nervous upon noticing. She turned back to the paper and wrote:
