Hello, Some undermining Concerns with myself I figured I would discuss.

Hello, My name is Noramo Ryusji.

I have some concerns with my own being, I'm not quite sure if I'm fur or not.
I can honestly say I adore foxes like no other, and feel a strong relationship to them. Why, I can not say.
I love furry art, I think it's very cute. and other forms of furry art as well. ( I think you get the picture )
I've been interested in "Furries" for maybe close to a year now, and I try to put it out of my head, but eventually those thoughts come into my head in Sporratic bursts.
I ask my self "What if you are a Fur, what now?"
"What do can you do?"
"What DO you Do?"
"Why am I like this?
"What made me this way?
"Is it Okay to be a fur?"
Along with too many other questions to state.
I figured this would be the best place to get this out in the open, seeing as. well, I don't think my family/friends would be too thrilled with me
Espicially one that happens to hate furries.

I'm fond of smiles as well, though my past girlfriend wouldn't tolerate Improper English online. So I've gotten quite accustomed to sounding like a total Stiff-meister online. It's become rather hard to let loose, though i don't think its going to be hard with all these cute Fox smilies. Whoever is the Administrator of these forums is a Genius!

Anyway, i feel your pain. I don't tell to many people about Furries myself but the ones i do tell except me for who i am, not what i am.

People generally don't understand what it means to be a fur. they think it's something perverted (granted with the amount of furry porn i can see why, but i'm not complaining) and u wanna date the family pet. It's just a classic case of ignorance over powering learning.  To me being a fur just means i can be someone or something, however u wanna see it as, i'm not in real life.  I can come home from work and share art, chat or whatever with people of like minds. Animals make people better people, ever notice how your Vet is more human then YOUR doctor is?

Anywho, you can be nothing but yourself. If yourself is all fuzzy with a bushy red tail then so be it. Anyone who is your true friend will like you no matter what. Ya don't have to walk around in a suit or make up to be a fur, it's just a state of mind. Besides there are many really nice furs out there who will except you for who you are inside.

I`m kero, a ferret furry. Not alot of people truly understand what a furry is. Some dont even know what your talking about while others who do know a small bit about furries think were gonna go and molest a random cat or dog. Its hard to explain but being a furry is what makes us special and different from everyone else, I think furries see and understand the world better then others.

Well, Thank you all for being kind to me, I'm glad to meet you all.

First time in a long while I was excited about seeing forum posts when I got home, quite honestly.

I've come to a conclusion that I'm defiantly a furry, based on research.

And I'm cool with that.

May our endeavors as a community be pleasing. I've so far have been quite content with this, and am becoming more content with myself.

I'm ready to have fun now.

I think the subject at hand has been covered quite adequately by my fellow furs. For me, being "furry" is identifying with a certain characteristic in an animal, of recognizing the animal instinct and behaviors in all humans. The only thing I really do different now, is chat on here and the IRC! I have friends with a similar interest as me. Just the same as those who find friends who like basketball, a certain TV show, or any other kind of range specific interest.

So, be happy! You've come to a place where you can evolve and grow as a furry, among people who understand all the questions you'll have, and who are tolerant of the person you will become. Nix that, they are excited about the furry you will become!
