I was beginning to shiver. The sight of Kaprika approaching me with a big, dry, warm looking beach towel was almost as welcome a sight as her roommate ad. As I'm accepting the towel I thank her and she answers her phone, which had been ringing. I soon realize that this towel is no where near good enough to get me dry. My pack has a trash sack full of clothes, so they should be dry enough to wear. A bathroom is what I needed now, so I wait for her to finish talking before I ask...




So now that we have more than just two people in play, do we need to start restricting posts and take turns?

I giggle a little as she answers the phone, proud of myself for having the nerve to call.
"hello!" i exclaim. "my name is KOdachi, and I got your ad...i'm curious. Does your offer still stand?"

im shocked...another one? my Ad hadnt even been up for more than 4 hours...jeeze housing must be awful around here for people to be clamoring an Ad like this.

"uh..yes, hello. yeah. it is" i peer over my shoulder to my guest and bite my lip...
"hey....is there any chance you could actualy come over here tonight?
i thought if i could get them both together...why not just talk to them both at once? save the time.

[Kaprika]

as i wait for the person on the other end of the line i hear a knocking..? knocking??? this was nuts, i was mrs popular today. with the phone to my ear i go to the door and peer through the peep hole and sure enough there was somebody standing at the door with a eager yet anxious look on there face...
.....sure, why the heck not.
i open the door and peek my muzzle out..another sopping wet fur..i might need to break out my hair dryer tonight.
"yes..? can i help you?"

[Kaprika]

i put my paw on the reciever of the phone and ask my caller to wait a moment...
"woah...uh......"
i look at the poor guy standing there looking so utterly helpless...i felt kinda bad for him.
"uh....i really dont have any clothes. im a fur sporter..im sorry...all i really have are belts and sparse things....."
i still wanted to help so i think for a moment...
"uh....my old roomie may have left some things i think....but she was a girl, i hope you dont mind?? its all i got right now?"

*moves into the apartment across the hall*

[Kaprika]

i apologize to the person im on the phone with for making them wait like this, so i go into my old roomates room and dig around her closet...sure enough she has a little pale pink cotton Tee that says "cutie" across the chest and some jean shorts that cut rather high up the legs...gosh i was gonna be dressing this poor boy like a high grade male prostitute...there has to be SOMETHING better in here? i look further and my paw finds a pleated black skirt with a pink skull printed on the front...wow....i forgot how girly she was.
i walk back to the door and open it up...waving my paw to my guest to remind him he hasnt been forgoten.

"uh...im really sorry...i mean REAL sorry..this is all i could find."
i hand the guy the clothes i found...id not have blamed him if he stormed off..i make an "im REAL sorry about this" face and shrug...its all i had

[Kodachi Devil]

I took another look at the flyer, and slapped myself as hard as I could.
"stupid!" i exclaim. "im right across the street"
I growl, hanging up the phone and running into the apartment complex, getting throughly soaked as I was really only wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I shake myself off as I dash up the steps before running smack in the door of 347. Woah.....stars....
Ow!" i exclaim, reeling from the hit

[Kaprika]

seeing the boy strip down in the hallway was a little odd...i didnt see the point of clothing wearers with no shame. if he didnt care, why wear clothes in the first place..
i shrug and return back to the room...but before i can bolt the door a knock comes pounding...did he need something else??
i turn back around and open the door to see a new face at the door..now who was this??

"hello??"

[Kodachi Devil]

"im sorry!" i stammer out. "i'm the guy that just called you a few minutes ago"
I whimper a little and look up at her, some water dripping onto the floor.
"some rain we got there"

[Kaprika]

"oh geeze...yeah come in"
i open my door and gesture my new guest in...ok NOW that blowdryer was possibly gonna be needed.

"go ahead and stand with uh.....that guy..and just hang on a sec..im gonna get you both more towels"
i gesture to the lizard in the kitchen and scamper off to get the towels...
"uh...talk amongst yourselves for a sec"

[Kodachi Devil]

I look over at the lizard, and wave sheepishly at him, although I'm a squirrel.
"hi...." i say, smiling at him. "'my name is Koda...what is yours?"

[Pea]

A whole lot happened very fast! First Kaprika received a phone call, then then two people showed up at the door in sequence, one of whom was standing next to me. He was a very wet, yet very happy looking squirrel. I was surprised to see him, and reacted thus...

"Oh, hey!" I replied to his greeting, shivering slightly due  to my blood getting cold. "M-my n-namesss Chris. N-nice to m-meet you Koda. I, umm... n-need to change. My bloods getting too cold.... m-mind turning around?" I began opening my bag and bringing out my trash sack full of dry clothes, then waited for Koda's response....

[Kodachi Devil]

I nod happily and turn aroun, wagging my tail
"tell me when I can turn again, pal!" i say, tail swishing back and forth. I can't believe I already met someone so nice. I giggle a bit and say
"hey chris, want to be my friend?"

[serpington]

i walked upstairs not finding the manager. i walked through the halls following the trails of wet paw prints that all lead to one door with the noumber 347 on it. "wow, looks like this place is full." i turn to the room across tha hall and decide 'what the hell' i walked over and knocked, hoping for a response. "man, i need someplace warm, quick. being a serpsicle doesn't sound fun." he sat down in the hall while waiting for a sign of life from inside to apartment.
