Life Bites.
« on: March 31, 2011, 02:56:59 PM »
So my roomate left which is good because he complains about everything very loudly, but its bad because he lost his job about 3-4 months ago and Ive been paying ever since. Comcast called us up to offer a free upgrade package that required us to do nothing and when it comes it turns out its 20$ more on my bill per month. I go to take my jeep to the repair shop today just to see whats wrong with it, and tell them that I just want to see whats wrong with it because I dont have the money to pay for repairs, and it ends up costing me 118$ just to find out whats wrong. I will never go to goodyear again. Its gonna cost me 785$ per month for rent, 90$ a month for internet and cable, the cable Im never going to use, 50$ for electricity, and 100$ a month for gas. Im living off of a bowl of oatmeal, a loaf of bread, and a bowl of ramen everyday, thats less than 2$ a day for food. I cant move out of my apartment, which the management is absolutely horrible, early because its gonna cost me 1600$ plus 2 months rent of me still living there. I dont want to find a roomate because I dont want to live here when the lease is up and asking someone to live with me for 6 months isnt fair to them. All of this, every single part of this, wouldnt be such a big deal to me if my roomate would have just kept his ******* mouth shut and talked to the lod (manager) at our work instead of confronting the problem directly. This is what I get for being nice and helping people. Oh and I forgot to mention I have to pay for food for my cat, which adds about 12$ a month.

This economy blows, Macid.
Things will get better, money is tight now but I'm sure things will turn out for the best.  ^_^

AT&T has a deal for 20$ a month for just inter-webs. Thats an extra 30$ right there. Hm. As for the rest, short of sending you money I don't have, I can't help. I have not been commissioned yet, and I still need to finish my big fricken list of free art for people. Sorry, bro.

Macid you should fight comcast on what they did.
A quick number to get to a human is    800-266-2278 .
Just don't say anything when it gives you options, it'll read the number from caller ID and send you to your local office.
If they still give you troubles, talk to the BBB.
If they still give you troubles lemme know and I'll bite them.

What's wrong with your Jeep, anyway?

I've been in your position before, where outgo far exceeds income. Sounds like you're doing all you can.
All the more reason to move up here wif me and Terra <3

Oops, better call 800-266-2288 instead, 2278 is specific to Palm Beach :P

Good luck! *hugs*

I cant call them. I detest confrontation to sya the least. And you know? If I had the excess money and a job offer, I think I would move.

I'd call them for you, but it'd get awkward when I had to pause every time they asked me for your purrsonal info, and I had to ask you :P

We could help ya get on your own two (four?) paws, but you gotta get yourself up here xD
If you're ever in a position when you're about to move, hit us up, seriously.
I have friends in the airline industry... I have strings I can pull. I got Terra up here for $90... Florida to Alaska
