Which do you think is the better purchase?
« on: March 23, 2011, 03:58:27 AM »
I want to purchase a new game soon, but I'm having a bit of trouble deciding between two: Resident Evil 5 and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Any recommendations?

Resident evil 5 is a good game if you are looking for a shooter that doesn't take itself that seriously, isn't that scary but manages to create a strong plot as well as gory monsters and fights. It also has a weapon purchase and costume system that lets you customise your character somewhat.

GTA 4 is free roam, got AMAZING reviews , there has been no word of another GTA coming out soon and it has 2 downloadable content packs if you get bored. it has a compelling plotline and at times is humorous with occasional dark humour.

Personally i would recommend buying GTA 4, as it has more content and a much better multiplayer component.

resident evil 5 is a million times better if you have a friend to play with. on its own, its still pretty good. Id say gta 4 for yourself, resi 5 if you have a friend

My vote would also go for Resident Evil 5. It has incredible graphics, a highly engrossing and intense story, and solid gameplay. Oh, and the cinematics that power the story are the best I've ever seen. :)
