*Patrick sighed and rolled onto his back while sliding another clip into his rifle*

Patrick: My aim sucks? Well excuse me for saving your butt....

*Patricked smirked and jumped from the ramp of the dropship and onto the desert ground while shouldering his rifle and pulling his combat glaive from its sheathe*

Patrick: yea..yea..I gotcha...

*Patrick walked up to the doors of the dome and tapped them with the blade of his glaive*

Patrick: Hmmm.......seems to be nothing more then glass....but the security systems are pretty impressive....give me a few minuets

*Patrick then tapped a few buttons on his wristcom while sliding a cable into the access port of the doors*

Patrick: Let's see...interfaceing interfaceing inter...ahhhh....I'm in...whoa.....big place....tight security...oh look...satellite imageing....I see you Eric....man.....these guys really put a number on this thing......

Patrick: wonderful...just what I needed...wait...how heavily secured are a mech's main computer system?

*Patrick grinned as he got a perfect idea*

Patrick: Besides...do you have the training for infiltration and espionage? No? Then no comments from the peanut gallery...

just figure something out, and i think these are old units, like, Space Unification years old.

Attention, all personel on the planet Yourane, unless the Meha'ar plateau is taken and the Hypervelocity platform neutralized, the planet will be SNd, you have 3 earth hours to complete your task, Humanist Platforms on smaller moons and planets are firing on the planet and surrounding fleet, directed FOTG platforms are redirecting fire at Humanist positions, but the fire is increasing, i repeat, Complete your objectives in 3 Earth hours, or command will be forced to SN the planet.

*SN stands for super nova, the target is literally transformed into a firey ball of energy, it is still experimental

*FOTG stands for Fire Of The Gods, it is a supercharged particle beam that can wipe a small country off of the face of a planet

*hospital is evacuating all wounded, spot Nyx and try to stop her from leaving

*enoculate her and put her on a transport

The meds had noticed Tskiko trying to leave, and scooped her up for treatment before placing her on another transport. Once again, she had tried to fight them every step of the way. And once again she lost the battle. Tskiko didn't like being immobile, and didn't want to get recognized as the deserter she was. Though, she was positive it was bound to happen.

The nurses had given her some sort of sedative to calm her since she wasn't cooperating, and now they were getting ready to load her in an aircraft with a few others who were wounded. Soldiers, apparently. She closed her eyes and wondered where they were going now...

awh hell, Hail mechs!!

(Hail mechs are mechs dropped from ships that land on a planet quicker, if they survive the fall)

Pat, hurry up, everyone else, TAKE COVER!!

*sees fallen mini-mech and mounts the shoulder canon on a wall, waiting

Pat, either blow the door or run

*Patrick let out a small growl as the hail mechs dropped around them as he continued to working with his wristcom*

Ahhhhh....friggen a......this is not a simple voice recognition module you know.....and the door is made of durasteel plastic....it would take three pounds of plastique to move it an inch [this is bad....no cover and those mechs are about to use me for target practice.....]

*Patrick rapidly tapped the keys on his wristcom as it began interfacing automatically while he grabbed his rifle and aimed with his free hand*

[this is gonna hurt.....] OK, IN 3 MINUETS THIS DOOR IS COMING DOWN....WE GOTTA HOLD THEM....AND DON EVEN GIVE ME THAT LOOK ERIC!

*old bulky mech stands up shakily and heads towards them, head slightly crooked

*fires and hits it in the arm

*Patrick looked at the screen on his wristcom and blinked*

We got 2 minuets and 15 seconds yet

*Patrick aimed his rifle and fired a round, smiling as the round detonated against the knee joint of the mech*

If you got any explosive rounds or the like, aim for the knees, they can't attack if they can't walk

*Patrick glanced at his wristcom and smiled*

Just 45 seconds now

*cannon clicks empty as a APC mech opens with more than a 100 troops storming out

Cover, everyone, pull back to the platform, dont get bogged down, GET HERE NOW!

*takes cover and fires

*Patrick smirked as Eric took cover while firing another round off, groaning as the rifle recoiled into his shoulder*

[Gahhhh....damnit....I think my collar bone just went....how much time? 10 seconds, great....they way these mechs are advancing, we'll all be toast in 5 seconds...unless....] Eric....do you have an Mag-pulse grenade? [Please say yes please say yes..]

*Patrick dove to ground just as several bullets passed over his head only to grin as his wristcom beeped*

DOOR'S OPEN! GO GO GO GO GO!

*grabs a rookie by the collar and tosses him inside

*Patrick grinned as he caught the MP grenade before diving through the door, ducking behind the side of it*

Obviously you had forgotten what a Magpulse grenade can do to a computer....

*Patrick pulled the pin before tossing the grenade out at the feet of one of the mechs, grinning as the grenade detonated into a wave of magnetic pulses, completely scrambeling the computer systems of said mech*

So now what? Whoa....

*Patrick whisteled in amazement as he looked around the platform, gazing at some of the systems and like with deep interest*

i guess, just an oversized palm imager, and anyways, amaze all you want, all of this is gonna be pure energy soon, if they do decide to SN the planet
