My old childhood friend, Shelby, is now my girlfriend. I've known her since grade school. We've had rough patches, but we always stayed close. Damn, did I get lucky.

I just got the Dark Tide combination hardcover, it takes the two Dark Tide books (Books 2/3 in the new jedi order series) in the mail. It cost me about 6$ It came with a special add-on that the seller forgot to mention... IT WAS SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally broke my record whilst cycling.
Did a small bike ride today.
In the first half of the trip I did 22 KM (I was fighting against the wind) in around 70 minutes putting my average on 18.86 KM/H.
The second half (returning back) I crossed 21.3 KM in 50 minutes, making me average on 25.56 KM/H.
In total I did 43.3 KM in 120 minutes putting my average speed on 21.65 KM/H.

I finally broke the average (previously I was always stuck on 19-20KM/H)

As for myself... Today I got into a mascot costume... I was freaking out at first because of claustophobia. But I got used to it really quick. I think I was gonna faint towards the end there, but in the meantime it was interesting. Makes for good experience for when I plan to fursuit.
*At least I know that if I plan to do so, I better do it with the mindset of making sure I don't need help to take off the fursuit. For the mascot costume it freaked me out a little that I couldn't take it off by myself until I realized I could indeed do it in emergencies.

My sister let me have Yoshi's Island for the SNES.
The very same copy I used to play as a little kid.
It was the first game I remember beating the first boss in by myself, so it's a very special game for me for both that and a few other reasons.
To have that cartridge in all its well-loved glory means the world to me. (The SNES we had when I was still at home was technically hers, so when she moved out all those years ago she brought it with her. Didn't even think she still had it.)
