Diggin' the new avvie, Billy.

The guy manning the till at the local Wal-Mart was **censor** awesome. Immediately recognized my father's ringtone (Imperial Claxton), is an avid air-softer, overall Star Wars fan, super friendly and sociable. He was pretty awesome to chat with while checking out. Also just got back from Denny's with my father, with yet more friendly and sociable employees while I picked on him for liking a pop song.

Took the cubs to the dentist.  Both were super brave.  Well done them!

I'm pretty much all moved in! Got most of my boxes unpacked and my room kinda organized. Gonna get my desk set up so I can stop using this shitty plastic tote for one and then get all my game systems organized. After that? Just some sprucing and I'll have my space all set to go.

While I was at the graduation coffe thing for my brother yesterday, I did not attend the actual graduation ceremony at his school.
Which I'm now extremely grateful for.
I got told afterwards when mom and my aunt came to pick me up that several of the people responsible for sending me off to the orphanage were there, and sitting there for several hours listening to them blabbering about youths and their promising future while knowing full and well that they severely crippled mine would just have been too much.


And my "mother" was there too.


So yeah, in short I no longer feel bad for not attending =^-^=

Today, I helped out with a charity that brings kids affected by the Chernobyl incident from Ukraine and Russia, and brings them here for four weeks. I helped to set up the day for them, and I got to meet them in person! I even had a competition with some of them, racing on the climbing wall. Some of us even shared a slush puppy, while taking about world affairs  For once in a very long time, something I have hoped with actually lead to me genuinely smiling! I feel great, and apparently helping out will prolong these kids life's by up to 5 years.

Starting to convert the Nemeth Designs SA-2 Samson from FSX into YSFlight. This thing is wicked cool but the model size is a nightmare. It takes 15 minutes to load up the model in Blender. When i get all the unneeded parts off the model I think this helo will be massively popular, especially with Avatar 2 coming out in the near future.

Managed to get mom to teach me how to make "sima" (A non-alcoholic Finnish mead knock-off) =^-^=
I love-love-love that stuff, possibly even more than coke. Sadly it's a seasonal thing and only supposed to be drunk during Vappu, so it's a pretty rare treat.


...Buuuuuuut there's noone around to stop me from making it any time of the year now =^-^=

It's a fantasy book about Benny and the world he lives in. He faces a lot of hardships and villains, but has his friends to help him get through hard times. ...Also, it has a heroine that's not a typical eye-candy type character.
