Got a bit of a confidence boost today. My science tutorial teacher decided to tell me I'm "one of the smartest kids in my grade." And my German teacher asked me to read from the book so Someone asked "why do you always ask Eberhard to read?". He said because I'm a good reader. (In german). All that kinda made my day!

So, I had a calculus lab about 15 minutes ago. Each class, a few students are asked to solve a question from our homework on the blackboard at the front of the class. I made the mistake of leaving my homework until yesterday, and the power went out last night ><.

Well, that means I would have to do a question on the spot without preparation IF I am selected. Small chance, but of course I am selected.

There were about 20 questions or so from our homework that we could be asked to present, and I am a little behind in calculus so I had no idea how to do any of them. Except one.

It was a dice roll, but I got selected to present THAT question. It was fantastic. Most people bring their homework up to the board and copy down what they had previously prepared. I went up with JUST the textbook and correctly solved the question in roughly 20 seconds, and then proceeded to correctly explain the answer because I had just looked at that particular question 5 minutes before the class started. That was a close one.

well i have just applyed to a game dev course and i need to find something perst part is i will be learning a whole new game dev engine and i get a laptop and its 18 months of work to get a high pay job and yea more detail in a personal journal to come



The Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games is a 18 month course consisting of 16 units of study that are broken up into 4 major clusters of learning.
You will also be learning to work in the Unreal Development Kit used to make leading games such as Batman Arkham City, Borderlands 2 and Dishonoured..




EDIT: well heres something to positive not to all caps IM GOING TO COLLAGE i got my eamial saying all i need to do is supply some proof of I.D  and im going to be in im crying with joy right now

*Me and mom having a random discussion about nothing and everything, and somehow end up on the subject of same-sex relationships, albeit in a more "joking" than serious way. Worth mentioning is that she doesn't know that I'm bi/pan/whatever and she probably never will*

*Expects random long rant about it because my one of my siblings is in one and I'm not too sure she'd be able to accept the thought of having two children "like that"*

Many things can be said about my mother, but when she's not being drunk and abusive there are at least some hints of a good parent. :')
