It's definitely a nice catharsis, listening to something sad or angry when you're feeling that way. Helps to get the negatives out of your system. :) Part of the reason I like to listen to Slayer after a hard day of dealing with imbeciles at work. XD

It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, something I've been carrying on my own for over 6 years now.  :)


Also, I started university and I absolutely love my courses! I swear it's the first time I've been excited to write an essay  XD

Oh man, I was doing some Pokemon battles with folks online just a bit ago. I was super surprised by how well I did! Out of a total of 11 battles, I won seven and lost four, and that's just starting out; I've never actually played very much online. c: I'd say that's a damn good run, considering some of the people I faced were ungodly talented. I'm feeling really proud of myself, even if it is a video game, it really gave me some extra confidence in general and in game. Aaaaaah, and here I was thinking I sucked at competitive Pokemon battles. So glad that isn't true.

In one of my classes, I was one of only two people to get an A on the assignment we turned in last week! :D My professor said students VERY rarely get A's on that assignment, and she wants me and the other student who got an A to send her copies so she can use them as examples of what that assignment should look like! And on top of that, some people from a local tech company are coming on Wednesday to talk to the other class I have her for, and she says I can give them my resumé and a copy of that assignment as a sample of my technical writing skills!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!  XD This week is starting out great!!
