An excerpt from one of the many: Frost

As the frosts creep
The people sleep
Barricading themselves from my wind
Hiding there skins from my teeth
As they hide
I take pride in my conquest
My total control of their outer world
leaving me free to prowl the night
Control the water, wind, and sky
Watch as the plants wither and die
My reign is total, my plans unpredictable
I am unstoppable
Yet I become bored
And I move to bigger game
To let life flourish once again
