[Nali]

Nali looked up at pheonix.  What did he mean?  Okay, eat, that means... comer, you eat, come.  "Como dos hace días."  Oh, Ingles...  "Um..."  She held up two fingers, no idea how to translate her meaning.

[pheonixrebirth]

"aah, i'll be back in a bit ok?" he grabs a reloading crossbow from the bushes nearby and loads it up. "i'll be right back nali, you rest ok?"
he returns shortly with several rabbits and some scorch marks on his arm. "here you go." he hands nali a roast rabbit and starts eating one himself.

[Nali]

Nali slept for a moment before pheonix returned.  She took the Rabbit and began to eat it.  It had a weird taste, but she didn't care, she was hungry.  She finished the rabbit and laid back onto her back, closing her eyes and falling asleep in an instant.

Pheonix looked at the sleeping girl. she couldn't be older than 11, and he felt protective of her. he brushed a lock of hair our of her face, plucked a feather out of his crest, and tucked it into her hair. "pleasant dreams nali." he finished off his rabbit and headed upstairs to his nest to sleep.

[Nali]

Nali's dream took over where it left off.  She was living a perfect day, until it became her worst, but she had no clue it was still a dream, and was forced to live it through the night, both perfect and horrible in the same moment.

Pheonix woke up with a spliting headache, like he usually did when he slept too long. "i need to stop doing that...." he mutters. he gets up and leaps to the ground, and knovks on the door softly "nali, nali... you up?"

[Nali]

"Mm?"  Nali asked, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.  "Awake."  She replied, stretching, but still sitting in the floor.

[pheonixrebirth]

"did you sleep well? you should start learning with that thing i gave you, if we want to understand each other better." pheonix said nicely. he brushed a lock of hair out of her eyes and sat on a stool nearby "we're gonna have things we'll need to do, and we'll need our energy for it."

[Nali]

Nali leaned back when pheonix reached for her, but let him brush her hair out of her eyes.  She opened to package and pulled out a disk.  "Hm...."  She said, looking at it, then at pheonix.  "What things?"

"i'll let you use my laptop to learn english with that, provided i watch ok?" pheonix patted her ears softly, tickling them for fun

[Nali]

Nali nodded, all she understood was learn, English, and watch.  She looked at the disk again.  'Ingles....'  She thought.  'Es muy com-'  Her thought cut off, feeling pheonix scratch her ears, she closed her eyes and smiled wide.

"seem you like that, don't you?" he staarted tickling her on her sides, grinning

[Nali]

Nali fell onto her back, laughing hard.  "Tic-kles."  She said between her laughs.  Her eyes were still closed and her smile was wider.

"well, let's get started on your english lessons" he sets the laptop in front of nali and puts the disc in, and steps back to watch nali learn english.

[Nali]

Nali sits up in front of the computer, looking at it, focusing on the English lesson, being played from the disk.  'Ingles.  Habla con pheonix.'  She thought.
