Forum Banner Contest!

Want to design a banner to go at the top of the forums page? Well here's your chance. :D

Now that it's May and a new summer season is beginning, we're having a new banner contest to replace the banner that's been up there for a while. Any forum member can participate, all you have to do is post your entry in this thread before the deadline. You can also enter more than one banner in the contest. After the deadline, there will be a vote among the forum members to select the best banner.



Rules!

1. Do NOT steal other people's artwork to create the banner. Make your own, or use some other means to create the banner.

2. The banner does not have to be a particular size, but it should not be larger than the current banner (which is 750 pixels wide and 150 pixels high).

3. The banner should coordinate with the forum's current color scheme! (You don't have to be restricted to ONLY blue/grey/etc. but, for example, a blue banner would look better than a bright orange banner would.)

4. Keep it appropriate according to the forum rules.


DEADLINE: May 16th


Since the forum automatically downsizes pictures larger than 600x600, it's recommended that you post your banner by attaching the image to your post. You can do so by clicking on "Additional Options..." when you reply to this thread, and browsing for your file where it says "Attach".


Have fun with it, I hope to see some good entries. Any other questions about the contest, just ask. :D

Can you have more than one entry? because my ideas have rather varying styles. I'll probably only do two though.

It is, I think, slightly wider and slightly shorter than the image already on the forums, but it could be easily resizable.

It looks sorta crappy and I'm open to any suggestions, idea, compliments, complaints, and criticism, the idea is to represent a good deal of the furs on this forum. The left is for the more serious and devious furs and the right is the more fun loving and happy side.

It has the classic tail and ears image, a picture of a collar, a pencil for the artsy furs, X3 as a common furry emoticon, the sun on the lighter side and moon on the left, the left has thunder and a devious face.

If there is anything you would like that you think represents a good number of furs that I missed out like I said, I'm open to suggestions.

And also if I were to update the picture would I be able to re - enter with the revised version. Or should I just modify this post with the new one?
