Firstly, it's Novikov, not Nikochev. (Unless you're referring to a different theory)
And secondly,
Darn your physics! But why would you think I kill my grandfather? I probably would avoid killing anyone.

Wait, you set yourself up for failure!
The predestination paradox says that since my grandfather is alive, I'm not going to kill him.

predestination is a paradox which says you will be at the place to create the paradox.

grandfather paradox is when you stop youself from existing so you cant kill someone but you dont so you live so you do but you dont because your dead but your not so you do but you dont. (goes on forever)

oscillation paradox where an object becomes the object that is put back in time and therefore is the object taken back in time to be taken back in time, and thus ages by affinity and the object in theory does not exist.

Time travel ish complicated.... or so physicists think!
I remember I was on this forum one day and someone came on claiming to be a time traveler, I don't think he is, but one of the things he said was "People say 'If time travel is possible, why don't you see time tourists?' well, you do, you just don't notice. Hell, someone could come up and be like me and say 'Hey everyone I'm a time traveler!' and no one would believe him, like think about how many people reading this don't believe me." So I try not to seem close minded -.-
But he said that these things aren't so complicated.
Like with the grandfather paradox, he said many people before have traveled back and killed there grandfathers to see the effect, and nothing happened, they remained. They went back to the future and found out they never existed, but they did then.
And he took on other theories, I didn't read the whole thing.

heard how time might be self healing?

e.g. you build a time machine to save someone and you do, they would then die a different way no matter what so you would still go back in time. however you could save a random person's family from dying because it wouldnt stop u going back in time in the first place.

timey stuff ^^

How the hell can people even know how time travel and paradox stuff works? We just make it up. That doesn't mean it's true OR false. We don't know and probably never will. >w<
