If you're fourteen, you're likely in school. In that case, you likely have a counselor or an adult there that's close to you that can offer more professional advice.

Assuming your parents aren't willing to chill out and leave you alone, which you should pursue a bit more nevertheless before doing anything dramatic, you need to put together a practical plan with some consideration; and I don't suggest doing that alone either. Fear for your feelings, not for your possessions.... I'm sorry they're mistreating you...

Back things up, for starters. second, you're only 14, you've got more in life. I haven't gotten along with my parents since I was 8. I've had many computers smashed, game systems destroyed, and more than you could ever imagine. Bottom line is, your possessions are always replaceable. What you should worry about is how you will deal with the hardships in your life. I've been kicked out 3 times in my life, all after I've turned 18. two of the times, i was lucky i was still in the air force, and that i had a place and food to eat. Now, after i've been discharged, i live with my mate, vee. if there's one thing i've learned from these experiences, it's that you need your family. no matter how hard it is, remember that it can always be worse. I've seen and experienced more in my life (i'm 23) than most people have seen/done in their lifetimes. trust me, value your parents and treat them with more respect. don't yell at them, it just makes things worse. trust me, i know. try talking normally with your parents. just sit down and have a discussion with them. just lay down that as a family, you all should be able to talk and sort out your differences without argument or fighting. though i'm not one to speak of such things, i implore you to try to make amends with your parents. unlike me, i'm sure you have family that doesn't hold grudges against you for long or if at all. if you need to talk, have a question or whatnot, feel free to PM me. Better yet, if you have Yahoo IM, i'll talk with you.

I know what you mean its kinda of switched with the parents but yea first don't argue that wont ever work I garente it second don't wory about your materials you should worry about your self its never good to be in that kind of place and they won't stop it will usually get a lot worse unless you talk to them (i f they can even be reasonable) or mabe talk with some one else like mabe some one your close to (that's not underage) and could mabe help you set things straight so you don't have to deal with it alone and they might actually listing to them but just never argue and you need to do something becase if you have the same thing like me then it will soon escalate and just rember that your not worthless

only hearing your side of the story, kind of puts readers in a strange place, but on the other hand I don't expect your mouther to hop on and defend her actions. If your mom is taking things "to far" as in flat out abuse, Then yes you need to tell some other adult like a pastor, teacher,

Just like Dog said "If you're fourteen, you're likely in school. In that case, you likely have a counselor or an adult there that's close to you that can offer more professional advice."

I really do hope your just being a teenager. You would be very surprised how far some respect for your mom will get you. Take it a day at a time.  :/

No offense, man, but some of us have been there, done that. Those of us who experienced this type of crap already know what he's feeling. He  posts this in hopes that someone who can relate posts a response.

KILL THEM!!!! LOL no, I would suggest that you tell them how you feel, (which im sure you've already done).... then if you cant get them to stop complaining and betching, then hide your fav possestions while you try to change their minds.......

If you want to mess people's lives up, do it somewhere else. Your advice is about as good as sewage on a platter.

Yeah I know how you feel. My parents are the same way and always have been. I've had my things broken or disappear but I've always had my way of "replacing" them. My parents like to yell a lot. I guess it makes them feel better even when it isn't my fault they always like to say it is. I've been kicked out of my house before. It wasn't so bad but unlike Shinzuu, I didn't have a place to go. I lived in my car for a week.

You've probably heard it all before. Your work is never good enough, it's your fault everything bad happens, you're just a big screw up. Whatever. The point is you only have to believe yourself and not what your parents tell you. You know you're not at fault if you're innocent and you did your best and thats all that matters. Just remember that whatever BS they throw at you isn't true. So they have issues. You shouldn't be the one to have to listen to them. When my parents start yelling at me I usually just tune them out and let them know how much I don't care about what they have to say. That's when they figure out that yelling at me over something is useless and they eventually stop.

Be strong and good luck.
