I do that once in a while, of at least hint of it, but usually if I post an incorrect number just assume I've corrected it since 99% of the time I will double check pefore I post another number.

A very simple way of checking if it's the correct number: Look at the top of the post on the "Reply #"; You take that number and add 1 to get which number the post should be.
