It's very similar to free running, apart from free running is normally more acrobatic.

I've always wanted to try parkour; I wasn't entirely sure what it was but from what I did know it sounded awesome.
Also, Wiki fails a lot. Once it said that "Winner, South Dakota" was founded by a French magician who was a lousy fur merchant.

It is fun, just make sure to start small, and I wouldn't recommend doing it on your own. practice small jumps first and work on endurance and upper body strength to catch onto ledges and pull your self up.

Mm, yeah to be honest though it's not all that, you could just climb random stuff, it doesn't have to be massive. I do it to help conquer my fear of heights and to keep fit. Though I fell into a tree from the top of my school and broke my dignity.
