Yeah, same here. I didn't do all that well in English, but I ended up getting an A (>92%) in biology. Weird.

And last year, I did really bad in English, but got an A in all my other classes.

I don't know if it's the same in the states but the only course still mandatory in first year university courses is English.

To be honest, I kinda get lost too on what I want to do with my life. I'm currently looking at chemical engineering, but if I see some other career that interests me, I suddenly want to do that instead.

I was thinking forensics, but it takes a long time to get your degree.

Then I thought regular law enforcment but that's just not me.

At first I was thinking mechanical engineering, but it didn't really appeal to me.

Then I thought computer programming, but seemed too difficult.

Then I thought about being a musician, and I laughed at my stupidity.

Then I decided I want to be a golfer, and then I started laughing at my stupidity again.

Then I thought about chemical engineering and it seemed like a good idea to me.
