Yeah, but they need to be aligned exactly too. Otherwise it'll come out all crooked.

But luckily, some friendly folks on a discord community of that game handed me some tools in the form of numbered and colored refference grids, and loadable skins with refference numbers on the parts so you can find which surface sits where on the aircraft.
It'll still hurt, but it's doable, I suppose.
