I guess that Arduino is marketed to be super user-friendly, but that doesn't neccecarily mean that Texas Instruments is any less forgiving. Besides, the Uno V3 (The arduino variant) and the MSP 430 dev board seem to both work the same way, anyways.

You can plug them into your computer and program it to what you want, after wich you can plug your desired wires straight into the board, eliminating a lot of soldering. Or, choose to program, and then remove the microcontroller, so you can put it in it's own circuit. I guess the only diffirence in user friendliness might be the programming language. (If they don't both use the same)

Besides that, Atmel is a pretty old company aswell. Soo, while I'd still guess that TI's stuff is better (because it's a pretty well regarded company in general) you can't deny that Atmel's chips are a bit cheaper.

But, hey, the TI board is 10 pins, while the Atmel one is 14 pins. But, besides that I really don't have time to look into it rn.

But hey, they each cost something like 15 bucks, soo can't possibly hurt that bad to buy the wrong one, rite? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hmm, guess I'll need to have some fun with that at some point.
As I said once, I kinda want to make some kind of display using only LEDs at some point. Probably just a clock cuz that's the first thing that comes to mind but still. I'll need lots of LEDs and a controller like that, besides other junk.
I'll save up some money hopefully and get it.

Ooh yea. I can make a binary clock! Always wanted one of those in a place that doesn't have a normal clock on hand (I had a thing like that on my phone but phone has a normal clock so I just kept defaulting to that instead of putting some effort to reading binary)

I made some dragons, which I will offer as characters to whoever. Well, like, a baseline. That fits into an unnamed world I made up. 10 tribes, Sea, Desert, Forest, Field, Fire, Air, Swamp, Rock (/burrowing), lightning, and Frost.  Gonna get more creative with names later on. Wasn't sure what threat to put this on, but, lemme know if you're interested in making one or offering ideas! Also, hybrids do exist. Certain ones are near common. There's a ton of variation, in purebreds and hybrids. Also oriental and non oriental populations.
