Wether or not your teacher is gonna believe you, in that case, depends on your behaviour in the (?)classroom(?)... (Don't know how that's called in uni)

If you're grades are good, and you put a lot of effort into your work (and show it), you should be fine.

Never missing classes isn't the only factor...

Someone can not miss a single class, but still spend the entire day playing with his [redacted].

It matters wether or not your proffessors know that you're trying your best in class, and that you take things seriously enough to feel bad about missing one.

Well, I have the highest mark you can get in two of my classes, this is unfortunately my 3rd time missing any sort of class. First time: snow storm happened, only classes after 12:00pm were cancelled, but I didn't want to risk driving through it. 2nd time: I had to miss my 1:00pm class because of a work emergency, I had to fix something serious at work. 3rd time (today).
