I wonder why I keep feeling like I want to get my hands on an airsoft M4, even though the L85A2 I already own is statistically better in every way except for reloads, and the fact that it weighs a few grammes more...

Nah, tanks don't have hands. Only combat engineering vehics do...
That's why you always find us with armies, or enthousiasts who are willing to take us loud, bulky, costly, suckers in, cause we're secretly just hella dependant on people... :c

And, nah, I think it just looks really cool, I guess. Especially in comparison with the L85, with I think is quite a bland gun. And, to be fair, on some further insight, the M4 I've been looking at is actually almost 800 grams lighter, soo that's not really that insignificant. But, it's still just a little bit larger as the L85, even with the stock fully retracted, and has a shorter barrel because it's not a bullpup.

The only significant advantage is that reloading is lots easier with a conventional built gun, (with the magwell being some inches away from the handguard, where your "reloading hand" is resting) but even then. On a cqc battlefield where I'm likely to need tactical reloads, and a light gun to run around with, I'd much rather have some sub-machinegun, wich are much lighter, and signifficantly more compact than the L85, whilst also having a conventional layout.

Still, a pretty gun...

Just a shame I don't have a place for one...

Well, yes, shure. Everything's possible...

It'd, however, be unbelievable awkward to have to run around with two guns, one in each hand, and equally ineffective to hipfire both at the same time.

Especially since, in airsoft, you only need to hit someone once, in any place on their body, to put them out of the game, I'd say that raw firepower is completely irrelevant, and that it'd be much handier to sacrifice having twice the normal amount of ROF, for much needed mobility, and making it much easier to aim your gun, and effectively shoot it.

If still want to throw clouds worth of BB's towards your oponent, with no regards to accuracy, why not just have an airsoft shotgun?

It'd be much easier to use than two guns at the same time, and technically also has a higher ROF than any other gun, because it shoots multiple projectiles at the same time!
