I've heard of random giveaways that happen from your wishlist, but I'm not sure what the circumstances are for it. I'm sure you'd be notified if you were gifted it.

Generally it goes the other way around, unless "Leaving the match because he was too good" is a rephrase from "getting VAC'ed for cheating". :P

It permanently bans hackers with no hope for retribution, or refunding the hacker's items...

Needs a hand from player mader reports sometimes, but does what it's supposed to do!

Like I said, most modern hacks can easily bypass the system, wich is why it relies on the help of humans from time to time, because yes, if a non-negiotiable permaban system is a little too triggerhappy, problems do indeed come forward.

Just don't download and install any unknown software that's meant to "improve gameplay" or let anyone tamper with your computer, and you'll be fine...

Although, that being said, if only TF2 wasn't a free to play game, it scertainly would have a lot less hackers on it... :/
