Recruiter: "We are prepared to arrange and finance the required courses for you, but, ofcourse, you understand that those classes cost us a lot of money, meaning that you'd have to work with us for quite some time, if you want to make up for those costs. And, looking at your CV, I can't see that you've made a commitment like that to a company, before. Are you shure that you can do that?

Me: "Well, this one time I joined a count-to-1,000,000-replies thread, on a forum, and it litterally took something like 30 years, but we completed it..."

Even if someone was paying me to do this, then I could only assume that said recruiter would be rather "dissapointed", to say the least, when they hear that said project was just a silly forum game...

Actually, on my last interview, the good sir was (according to my college's mentor) a little worried that I seemed a little too shy to fit into a team of heavy-industry electrical engineers, for an internship. So, I'm not shure that that would've helped me out there. >_>

(Little did he know that I had biked 30 kilometers trough the freezing cold and hailstorms, with insufficient clothing, to get there, before instantly being thrown into an interview room with said recruiter, possibly with mild hypothermia. But, that's a small detail...)

And, is this is even any work for said non-profit organisation? (Implicably TFF)

It's not like we're doing anything beneficial, here, right?

And people are rarely impressed with people showing up inappropriately dressed.
Sure, bike around in clothes unfitting for the weather conditions all you like, but the majority of people will quietly file you under "stupid", "probably prone to getting sick a lot" and "Does not know how to dress, so probably doesn't know plenty of other things either, most likely really bad at being responsible" and so on. :P

And, just for your information, despite said tendency, the last time I was sick was somewhere around 2011.  Call any of my previous employers and they'd tell you that I've never called in sick.

I kinda just have a mad OP immume system, it turns out.

I wanted to say "the cold never bothered me, anyways" but, I'd probably just end up hating myself for the rest of my life, if I'd do that...
