My Surface's display likes to bounce like a jackhammer on occasion. Supposedly some connection issue but there's no way in heck I'm opening the thing to mess with the internals. I'd rather deal with shaky screen than risk having an expensive flat brick.

Yeah, I've recently noticed it too. I listen to most of my music on youtube, but it seems like the bastards have stepped their advertisement game up to over 9000. Not only more frequent, but also unskipable, and longer ads are popping up all the time.

Really makes me feel like I should just start downloading music for games as well...

SoundCloud has 20 second unskippable ads, but a lot less of 'em. It unfortunately also doesn't have all the music I know 'n love, but a fair chunck of it. And a bit of my favourite game music I can listen through Steam music since I usually buy games together with their respective soundtrack (if they have one). Or, you know, some games come with their own music room (like PMD:EoS).

Regarding the adverts, I think I'm just gonna start using a youtube-to-MP3 converter, like the real edgy kid I secretly am. I've never had any trouble with those...

I might pick up some actual records from music stores though, that doesn't sound like a super bad idea. I even saw some original war-of-the-worlds tracks in one, not too long ago. Kinda regret not having bought it...
