Or you feel a sneeze coming but you have a bite of food in your mouth.
Or you've succesfully started your wood burning stove, but more than an hour later you find out that the chimney isn't flowing properly, and the stove is leaking smoke, and flooding your living room with carbon-monoxide.
And since you don't have any soda in home, you're forced to suffocate the flames, and put it out by removing the smoldering firewood, and still burning embers with a small scoop, and metal tray to take them outside, and douse them with water.
And then you just kinda sit outside for a few hours, waiting for the living room to ventilate, and closely watching the rooftops for any sign that you've started a chimney-fire.
But, hey! At least I have one of those tasty beverages, here, that we were talking about earlier!
