1^(1+5) = 1^6 = 1
1 + 9 = 10 and 10 - 2 = 8

Can't scare us with cheeky indices, we got dis !

How about   n^0 + 17 - 8 = x
;)

n^0=1 IF n is not 0
1+17=18
18-8=10
x=10

Easy.

Now someone tell me how much colder my drink will get if I put my refridgerator in a refridgerator!

Awww, Nuts!

I don't think calculating it would be hard, only you'd need the specifications of both fridges to do so... And I don't feel like going webshopping for fridges today.

I don't think it'll be any cooler since the refrigerator has a constant temperature
Everyone seems to have it, so here's mine

Yeah, fridges are designed to reflect heat and contain cold so I don't think it would make any difference
It'd be like putting a cold thermos inside a fridge, wouldn't really do anything :p

I knew my Asian senses were tingling.
With 955 characters for a signature, I can try make something funny or interesting but no, I'm just gonna sit here and type instead of going to work because breaking the fourth wall is more humour than trying to figure out how I'll get access to my other laptop; picking up my charger that I left at a friends house, around 40 miles away...

Good going Sparky, you did well. On the plus side, it's given you a chance to accidentally revisit some old stomping grounds and see what madness you can create during this seemingly temporarily return.

Maybe the programming of the fridge will keep it from wanting to get colder, but if you put a fridge in a fridge it deffinetly CAN get colder.

The compressor compresses the coolant, thus, same amount of thermal energy on a lower volume = higher temprature. higher temprature cools down to a lower amount of thermal energy on the volume. then when the coolant goes into the fridge it expands and gets the same, lower, amount of thermal energy on a higher volume, thus, the temprature goes down!

Now, if you put the fridge in a fridge, the compressed coolant won't just cool down to room temprature, but to fridge temprature! meaning that theres even less thermal energy in the coolant before it expands making it possible for the inner fridge to get even colder!

Well, if you program it to just go full power and you get the cooling components of the inside one outside then it can get colder I guess

They already are. How else would you think the condenser would cool itself down without heating the fridge up?

I mean... The cooling parts of the smaller one outside of the big one so it doesn't heat it up.

haha Lumix that's not how the math game works :3

In your post number (in this case 151943) you have to get the first 5 numbers to equal the last number using certain operations. Operations you can use include +, -, *, /, ^, sqrt, (). Concatenation is not a valid operation, you also cannot change the order of the numbers.

So in this case I need to somehow make the numbers 1, 5, 1, 9, 4 equal 3

this works

-(15) - 1 + 9 - 4 = 3

I used all the digits (1, 5, 1, 9, 4) in the correct order using the valid operations and as you can see, I got the answer!

151 929

1^(1+5) = 1^6 = 1
1 + 9 = 10 and 10 - 2 = 8
