Yeah, but it'd be a lot more fun if we had a decent forest. But no, half of the Netherlands is city/industry and the other half is farmland. The "Kennemerduinen", our "forest" is practically the only thing with "the veluwe" that's fair enough to be called a forest. And since they're the only ones in the whole country the management paved the living hell out of it, because everyones comes there to see what Hollands little bit of nature left looks like.
Unfortunately, because of that, it's also very strict. You're not allowed to camp in the forest. Hell, you're not allowed to even be present there after dark, because they're afraid of poachers taking their presicous population of highland cows that shit all over the place because it's way too small for them.
To top that all off, you're not even allowed to leave the official roads and such. Because most of the country is too negligent to identify vurnable areas that can be damaged by walking over it, I guess...
