You know, the funny thing about virea (No idea if that's spelled correctly) is that they're technically not alive...
They're basically just little things with elaborate enzymes on elaborate locations on it, such that when it comes into contact with a living cell, it injects it's DNA, RNA, whatever, (I forgot) into the living cell.
The living cell then picks up the DNA from the virus and starts copying it, and building new virea from the DNA blueprint.
The cell then basically gives up on it's primary functions, and secondary functions it requires to survive, only to binge-build new virae, untill the cell dies, it's membrane collapses, and all the fresh virae are released to do their thing, infecting more cells, and creating more virae!
