Now now, no need to accuse me of mindless murder!
They just get caught in my traps and I let them out again.
The game (and it's developers) stressed that this is a perfectly 100% humane procedure that causes minimal stress for the animals.
Which I am inclined to believe, seeing as the creatures appear to be just fine and stuff.
