Simon Comrie, Son of Dennis Comrie, and Elise Steel.
From since he was born, Simon's parents have worked as simple miners in the Jonai 4A ring, in their trusty type-7.
And as long as he can remember, they have been constantly bombarded by the local gang's pirate ships.
From time to time they'd get away. But on others they had to submit, and drop their hard-earned cargo to escape on the brink of death.
This was how life went in the business.
That was untill Comrie was old enough to buy himself a type-6 transporter, and fly alongside his father and his convoi, on their mining ventures.
Little did they know that Comrie, being fed up with the constant mining attacks, had fitted a small rail-gun on his ship. And once the pirates attacked once more, the convoi won. And thus, the tide had started turning.
But not for long...
The faction started sending bigger ships in bigger numbers. And life was starting to get hard. But together with the other mining vessels they fought back, And didn't loose ships or cargo again. Untill the miner's convoi's struggle turned into a vette...
The faction overran the miners with the single-minded goal of murdering everyone in the convoi. Noone stood a chance of winning.
Comrie was forced to watch how his parents, and the rest of the convoi was killed. And thinking he was nothing but a hopeless soul, the faction let him go.
But the pain of his lost parents, and the rest of the convoi, quickly turned into hatred. And Comrie sold his type-6, and used the money he made from his job to buy a Viper Mk. IV.
His skills behind the canopy quickly became apparant as he picked off the faction's ships one by one, destroying them by relentlessly attacking, with unprecedented fierceness. Not backing from severe damage, or even injury.
He helped push the system's security force over the brink of victory with his attacks. Eventually murdering the faction's leader in his crashed ship in hand-to-hand combat, by punching trough his helmet's faceplate.
Unfortunately, it turned out that faction's leader wasn't the biggest fish in the game. And not long after, the faction's supervisors send in their main fleet to restore their dominance in the system.
But even trough this, Simon Comrie became a synonym with death, in the faction's ears.
And he, and his black Viper, became known as "the shadow of jonai".
And even the faction's mysterious supervisor, hidden behind his fleet of captured warships know, that he will strike.
And that his demise...
Is only a matter of time.
