I've secretely always had the fantasy to dress up as a completely authentic U.S soldier from WW2, including a gun, sigarette, and scruffy beard. And then just walk around a furry convention like:

"They send me to Okinawa, But I was NEVER prepared for THIS!"

In all seriousness I think it would be an interesting experience to attend one, because roughly half of the internet is saying that furries are (slightly overstated) mentally retarded wankers who are into bestiality, and the other half says that they're just a bunch of people with a shared interest in a certain form of art.

There's enough pictures and stories to support both sides, soo I'm curious to see where the point of actuality lies...


I've also drawn a hypothesis that the kind of people that really shamelessly show they're furries everywhere on the internet are usually "the bad kind" of furries.

Thoughts on that?

There are a bunch of the bad furries around the internet, never met any on here though. Okay maybe a couple people who just joined and in the hello post all the intentions were clear. But that's only recently. From my experience on one small convention I can say it's just a nice friendly gathering with people chatting and smiling, super nice atmosphere and all. I think the first half of the internet over exaggerates. Can't say all furries are just a bunch of people with a common interest though.
I sometimes shamelessly say I'm a furry in some places, then people joke around with me and it's fun. Can't agree with that. Though maybe you mean a different "shameless showing"

I meant the kind of "shameless showing" that shows really nasty [REDACTED, you know what im talking about] Kind of "art" everywhere on the internet where it's allowed, regardless of wether the people there are actually waiting for it, rather than completely resenting it.

But after just having read the forum rules, wich I had initially forgotten. (forgive me Father, for I have sinned, Amen) I was quite positively surprised...

I grew up on the majority of the internet where furries are just automatically seen as "the bad kind", Soo I didn't expect that ,to be honest.
But this is quite chill, actually!

And, damn yeah! I'm always into improving the quality of a party with some sillyness!

Ah okay, that showing. Okay I get it well, it happens. But it happens everywhere, not only with furries. Might be a bit more frequent but still, you will find that stuff in Minecraft if you look most likely.
