I forget the details, but in essence the idea is that it takes a generation to process so there is a sense in which you get your genes from your grandparents and you children get their's from your parents.  It's more complicated than that but that's the gist of it.

Hey, I just heard some good news.  I had a MET call (medical emergency team situation) which became a Code Blue (critical medical emergency) last night and there was trouble with the two-way radio, but I persisted.  And apparently the nurse manager really appreciated my efforts and the guy is still alive!


So that's nice ^_^
