Fat is a great isolation though. Your internal body temp keeps growing. And you warm up from physical work more too.

Neither have I. Well I have some fat but not enough to change the temperature. But I think that's the case

I can trick myself into feeling warmer, so I can get around not too harsh cold for some time. It does cost quite some energy depending on how cold it actually is, and tricking myself into feeling colder is a lot harder for me.
