It's not really an all that offensive word tho. The only reason it became a bad word in the first place was because the Swedes needed a Finnish name for the devil after they had forcibly christened the Finns. Perkele was/is one of the names for the head god of the ancient pagan Finnish religion, and since the Swedes wanted the Finns to stop with their silly heresy they started to complain that Perkele was actually another name of the devil and that it was a sin to utter that word. And since sins were a big deal at the time, it worked ridiculously well.

Sima/"Mead" on the other hand is really easy to make.
All that's needed is a bucket with a lid, water, sugar, lemons, oranges, yeast, raisins and patience.
