I don't know about that, but immediate things I have noticed.

Food, gas, alcohol, some clothes and taxes are cheaper (by a lot). Dunkin Donuts is good, there is no such thing as traffic, and EVERYONE is hiring (minimum wage $9.50+ an hour AND benefits/bonus).

I haven't met anyone that wasn't friendly yet.
