Yeah, evil is probably the right word. I'm not a sociopath because when I lock you in the back of my van I can tell you're upset. ;)

As a side note: if you dial 911 in Australia it gives you 000.  Because apparently we have a generation of people who only watch US TV for social education.  *sigh*
