I can observe that the correct count for each reply is the reply number indicated on your post plus the first thread in the post (1). The count can also be obtained by multiplying the amount of full threads by 15 and adding any of the remaining posts of the thread that is not full yet. Of course, taking into consideration that your thread adds another 1 to the previous post's index.

Without trying the appropriate formulas consistently, I can see how this can easily become akin to chinese whispers :3
I would rely more so on calculating from the page numbers rather than the reply number as I am unsure of how the reply number displayed is calculated in consideration to deleted posts or not.
