As someone experienced in migraines I can say that it doesn't help to keep thinking about the pain. You have to do something to distract yourself from it, like take a shower. After you've taken medicine first.

Yeah, if painkillers helped, things probably wouldn't be so bad. The thing is that they usually don't, and that way too many things makes them worse.

So migraines for me usually end up being a several days long adventure of having my patience worn thin by stupid eye pain and nausea.

I get headaches from cigarette smells. I hate getting in someones car and it smells horrible of cigarettes

I like the smell of cigarette smoke. Not enough for me to smoke myself or to want to live with someone who smokes, but enough for me to enjoy standing around where people smoke.
Sweet smells, on the other hand, sometimes make me feel sick xP
