Halloween is a relatively new thing to celebrate around here.
Still, candles and cemetaries is what I still feel it's all about.
Sounds kinda sad, but those literal seas of candles are beautiful.

I just checked for some millitary boots at my local dumpstore, but concluded that for they cost around a 100 euros for a set, I think I'd rather stick with my banged up trail boots for now... :c

It's not that Chally's broke, but, damn, there's a lot more fun stuff I can do with that money than buy army boxes.

Like, buy actual new shoes, for example. Because half of the soles have came loose of my current ones, so I can store stuff like notes and money  in the space between.

I guess once your shoes start offering you stowage capabilities, it's a universal sign that you need new shoes...

Although, maybe you can have the privilage of getting some from your brother!

Nah, he's done with his military training so he's got nothing except for funny stories to share these days.
Like, the other day when we were watching the new version of "The unknown soldier", he was midly annoyed afterwards that there weren't enough mortars in the movie, and that what few there were didn't sound like mortars.
And on our way to the movie, he told me how he's somehow learned all the lyrics to Aqua's song "Barbie girl" while in training, but he can't remember how or why.


My grandparents gave me some money to buy winter clothes as a woofday present, so I'll be looking into the possibility of getting both a nice winter jacket and a pair of boots.
If that's impossible I'll just go for a jacket tho, as I already have decent-enough winter shoes.

Eh... I know it's an unpopulair opinion, but I wish that conscription was still a thing in the Netherlands. It used to be.

But, damn, it'd be so good for this country... Besides that, interesting af too...
