Pokemon is still something where you've got time to ponder. I'm talking about the sort of thing where you have to make meaningful use of the information AS you get it. Not just react according to what's going on, but plan ahead based on these changing circumstances. There's not a lot of examples of this setup being successful.

Yup, that's PMD for you. But I quite like turn-based strategy games, not like Super Smash Bros. where I try to play strategic but often my master plan is using a normal attack of some kind.
