say to him "If you dont like me, say so." then take what he says as the truth. Simple as.
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

Show a picture of yourself and I might be able to give advice. No no, don't be scared about this being my first post, I watch threads and rarely decide to help people. If you think you REALLY need help, a picture is required. I just cannot say if he is or is not going to like you if I don't see a picture.

AS For your friend just be up front and honest lies never pan out for long.  and try not to get to worked up over a IM friend.  :3

personally i think you're gonna get totally messed up by this, but that may be because it happened to me too. If you do get messed up by it, then well, you'll survive and grow.

if you dont get messed up then hooray.

You live, you learn... but most importantly, you live.

you're hiding stuff from him... so what? you're not obligated for anything. Just do what you like. If you like talking to him, go to his place. Just relax
