DO you ever scan images you hand drew, and color them?

If so how do you blend if you get glossy spots?

Yes, I have before.

Gotta mess with the contrast and levels and such to get the lineart as clean as possible to start with. Then I may clean up areas using either the smudge tool, eraser, brush, and/or clone stamp tool to try to get everything even.
