Not yet, at least!  It took me a solid 7 years between hearing about it to track down an IRL party who was open for beginners, but if you hang around near any boardgame cafés (if you don't have one.. Maybe one will open?) and local nerd meet-ups, you'll find people 
But I have also played a campaign online with people! ... I still wasn't very good at it, I think I play it too straight  I'm a very serious-played person in Roleplay Games. Which is good for DnD, but I think I got caught up in the rules  I've read the rulebooks over and over, I can tell you what does which and why, but in play, I still need to make it work
