Oh, my bad. I did not wish to imply that my logic was more advanced then yours, but to say that mine is far better than most of the juvenile children I spend most of my day with. Anyway, here is my story:
What does space hold for us? What things lurk in the incomprehensible vastness of space? There is bound to be new life out in the cosmos, so many questions are left in the minds of people: What will they look like? Are they intelligent? And the biggest thing we have asked is...will they try to kill us? Leon Barmiteous of the space vessel named "Rocinante" for it's old and possibly outdated design, is trying to find the answers to all those questions. He has spent most of his life venturing across galaxies in hopes of finding new, intelligent and peaceful inhabitants of the universe. Most of his searches ended in failure, not being able to come across any new life, until now, but what he found wasn't exactly the thing he expected it to be.
Leon thought that they would have least gotten past some sort of stage in scientific progress, but instead, they were dinsaur looking creatures that had extremely dangerous characteristics and no intelligence whatsoever. The animals had huge claws, spikes, thick skin and stood at a staggering height of 8 feet. Their eyes burned with anger, and their blood would boil at the sight of anything that wasn't of their kind. Of course, Leon and his crew encountered them when they were searching a planet for life. With only side-arms to defend themselves, most of the crew quickly fell under the might of these tenacious creatures. Leon and two other men ran for their ship, while they were chased. First, one of the predators jumped up in the air and landed right on a crew member. He had no chance, and all his limbs were ripped from his body. Blood and organs flew in all directions as the animal feasted upon it's prey, the man screamed at the top of his lungs, only for it to be silenced with one last slice. The other follower managed to pull out his pistol and began firing at the other hunters, one round after another hit them, and some of the monsters died, while the rest of them got more angry. When they reached the ship, Leon got inside and started up the engines, but the other man wasn't so lucky. As the two were running to the Rocinante, he was thrown into the side of the tree, and his body was impaled on a protruding limb. Yet, Leon managed to escape, flying off into space and barely reaching Earth, he lived and told the tale of what horrors he witnessed on that day. Leon found the answer to his questions, and he didn't like them, but either way, he was still determined to find more answers, more life, and possibly...more death.
Forgive some of my word repetition, I've been trying to solve that problem for a while now.
