Wandering the scenery that lead to a covered outlook miles away from the base, a white wolf wearing black clothing and having what appeared to be large blackened-metal boots that covered right below the patellae. Once in a while, the legs would quietly open up and release steam slowly before closing again as he walked. He stopped in an area that allowed him to see the area the fence-lines surrounded, hearing an alarm go off. He waited to hear the alarms to shut off as this was normally around the time that they were tested, but when they kept going, he turned and looked to the base. The wolf watched the place, wondering who was in control of it until he could get his eyes on what was used: transports, machinery... human technology. He did not know if he was the one who set off their alarm, but he was not going to take chances as he quickly loaded in a clip in a pistol he had and let the slide move into position before he reholstered it and moved to a more covered area to watch away from the outlook.

Just as the reptilian had made his cocky remark, a guard shoved a stun stick at the dragon chameleon, and as if she had already planned it she leaped into the air and he wound up jabbing the raptor with it. She grinned at this, looking over her shoulder as she landed behind the same guard and wrapped her tail around the his neck. "No, you keep up with me." The guard's eyes grew wide as he realized his fate when the monster grabbed his arm with her one of her free hands, forcing him to wield the stun stick at the others. The remaining guards froze upon seeing their comrade in the creature's grasp and still alive. She whipped her other hand around and pressed a claw into his gut, not puncturing him.. Just pressuring it enough for him to know she was rather serious about her work. "Raptor, I don't know who your 'old friend' is.. But I suggest you and the others in here follow my lead if you plan on getting out of here alive. We can run through here and kill as many guards as we want, but I can assure you.. They'll put an end to it with darts." The man in her grasp squirmed, scared of any plans she had for him. Her gaze shifted to him, and she coldly spoke in his ear, "Awwww. Wittle guard man scared? I'd be scared, too. If they pull one trigger at me, I'm gonna paint the floor with your innards. I wonder just how much you mean to these people.. Because they might just brush you off as a casualty just to get to me. Who's more valuable here.. Me or you..?" Having said that, she licked his cheek playfully, still directing his stun stick at the frozen guards in case they tried anything funny.

-----

The Bull Terrier watched as the events played out in front of her, listening intently to the scaley thing holding a human. It seemed to know what it was doing.. And it apparently didn't like it here either. It wanted out as badly as she did. She stood up and rushed over, growling at the guards. She was going to get out of this place if they were going to try, too.

The raptor winced a bit as the stun stick hit him, the volts coursing though him did little to please his senses. All they managed to do was aggravate him even further. He lunged forward and sunk his claws into the skull of one of the guards and with his forward momentum slid past the guy forcing the guy's head to turn at such a rate his neck broke leaving a gut wrenching crunch. Guard still at hand he pulled the guard into another as they were about to strike, blocking the attack. Before the guard could recover he spun around whipping the guy hard across the face with his long tail, breaking his jaw. He followed up his spin by raking the guy across the throat, letting him bleed to death. "Ok I feel I have gotten my fill." He said dodging another attack and taking the guard hostage. A lively smile was worn on the large dinosaur's face, the enjoyment of battle and blood causing adrenaline to flare through his viens. He felt truly alive in times like these and it was very evident. "Don't you worry, if you get out of here I will be sure your family hears of your demise." he taunted as he waited for the dragoness to make her move.

The 'god' soon became bored as nothing seemed to be burning and no smoke was rising, making the scene rather bland. But before he started to leave, he caught sight of a metallic shine in the area outside the base that seemed to scream 'metal object right here!'. The shine wasn't encompassing his entire foot, but rather just small parts where the light struck, so it took a good thirty seconds before he could make out the source of the shine. He looked a bit more throughly and saw a fur with what seemed to be metallic feet.

Hm...a fellow experimented fur...I wonder how he handles fighting

the 'god' thought before making his way through the trees and towards the wolf.
"From suffering I was born, From misery I was conceived. From the plight of Mortals I thrive, From the pits of Hell I rise, beware...... For I live.........."

"Wait, you're here for my shiny loot? I thought you were here to avenge the cattle and people I've slaughtered..."

He had the feeling of 'being-watched', though he didn't exactly know what was the cause of it. It took him a few moments to hear movement behind him, noticing the source of the movement from a metallic-skinned komodo dragon. He didn't know what to think of him at first, but he unbelted and held up the sword and sheath set at chest height with his right hand as he watched him now. His left hand gripped at the hilt of the sword before he spoke. "What business do you have here?"

Rigor looked out the opened door.. The raptor had managed to kill the guards, so she stepped forward and over the bodies, the man within her grasp waving his only free arm in panic to the people who awaited outside the cell with their guns loaded. Rigor held tight to the stun stick and the man's arm. If they were going to try to separate her living shield from her, she was going to take at the very least one limb with her. "Don't let them get behind us.." she muttered to the raptor, hoping he would take her advice. If not, they wouldn't get out of lab.. And probably disposed of for being such a hassle. When she stepped fully out of the cell, the guards cocked their guns, and aimed at her, making the man squirm even more frantically than before. She tightened the coil that held his neck on her tail and pressed a little harder with her claw on his stomach. The air was tense.. And quiet as she took the lead hiding behind her live sheild. "Lead us out.."

----

Sharky came around behind the dragoness, holding a guard. She had managed to grab one.. And he had put up a fight, but her fight was better. She had a bloodied nose and busted lip, but his neck was in her maw, his head was busted up, and one of his arms were broken. She was strong, one of the great things about her breed. He was also barely conscious and weak.. And knew better than to struggle because on slight move and she'd tighten her hold. Her teeth were already pressuring on his skin like Rigor's claw.. Not puncturing, but pressed hard enough to know she meant business. She felt shameful fighting, but it was them who had taken her.. Kicked her in the jaw and beat her when she didn't do anything wrong.

----

Rigor eyed the dog out of the corner of her eye and smiled.. A scientist stepped forward, and Rigor's smile disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. Her tail tightened, cutting off the man's breathing. "No funny business, doc, or I promise you, you will have a mess to clean up. I suggest you start telling us which way to go."

The scientist waved his arm as if to indicate her to stop,"Stop, stop! Let him breathe! For God's sake, let him breathe!"

"Tell your men to stand down." Rigor replied, unaffected by the man's pleas.

"Damn it, put down your guns, men! That's my son!" The men retracted their guns, and as promised Rigor allowed the guard to breathe.

The komodo walked over to the wolf, having both arms raised to protect his head. "A fellow soldier, who ended up sacrificing more than he was willing..."  he normally would have attacked, but the sword but him at a range disadvantage, and his speed couldn't even come close to evening the odds. His arms were dented in several places from months of poor matinence, and his current situation didn't promise any forseeable assistance.

"roger that, K-4 five clicks from here.... tails down, weapons out we got hostiles....."

Boots crunched over rubble and gravel as the dozen furs made their way down the alleyway. The lead soldier reached the end, and turning round the corner, checked the coast.... Snow blew in small flurried, frenzied, tornadoes... Wind whistling across the desolate scene of an old supermarket that had been demolished to make way for a re-fueling depot....

"all clear, ten four - split formation, keep down..."

Scurried movement as the group ran out, splitting into two distinct groups as they sought cover.... Once in position the boss pulled out a pair of omni-sights, scanning the dull, tungsten grey building.... watching carefully the moevement of the fuel tankers and two maching gun nests positioned at the entrance.... withdrawing back down behind the burnt our remains of a car he turned to the other furs, those with thick winter fur at ease, ears out, faces tense.... those less adapted to the cold, scarves drawn up over mouths, features no less grim...

"two mg nests, out front; no humvees seen.... we go in three minutes, check weapons, keep it quiet, we wanna get right to the compud before they spot us... Kitt, run and relay that to the other group, keep down... i wanna see you back here.."

Setting down his ACP repeater the slight figure of Kitt dashed between the wrecked car and a pile of rubble that was the cover for the second group..... sliding down beside the hunched up figure of a wolf, he relayed the orders..... running back, he slipped, catching himself and continued running until he reached the burnt out car.......

"well done..... right.... three.... two... one...."

The raptor holds the guard tightly, anxious to spill the blood that he can feel coursing nervously through the guard's veins. Taunting the guard by whispering threats in his ear, "I can feel the pressure of your heart racing from my claw on your throat. It would make such an awful mess to release." The thought made him snicker a bit at his own amusement. Ahead of him the head guardsman pleaded for his son's life, "Please here is the card key, just swipe it at the door down the hall and you will have a straight shot to the door." He aggravatingly snatched the keycard from his hand and smiled mischeiviously as he noticed the avian standing nervous behind him, hoping to get out free. Without warning he turned sharply towards them and roared, his loud thunderous voice radiating through the metallic corridors. The three avians jumped into the air and went into a blind craze, blinded by their fear they rushed out the door knocking the guards over providing them with an easy escape. "Poultry." the large raptor laughed as he slashed the guards throat and bolted down the hall. "All who wish to leave best keep up." He yelled behind him waving the keycard in the air.

"Stupid Raptor!" Rigor huffed, still holding onto the scientist's son. The scientist looked at her pleading silently that she'd release him. As if reading his mind, she growled, "I'm not letting go until there's grass under my feet. How do I know there isn't a line of guards waiting on the other side?" She took off running behind the raptor, her mind reeling with how things could go wrong now with the son still in her grip. They needed a hostage until they were out if they expected to actually escape, and that raptor had killed his already. Thankfully, Rigor had unknowingly grabbed the bread winner and increased their chances of getting out. If he was of some value to someone, they wouldn't just kill him and brush it off as a casualty essential to getting them. She looked over her shoulder to see the dog following behind her as well as the scientist that wanted his son back. The guards were busy trying to get the avians down while the alarm continued to shriek.  Just as the raptor arrived at the door, Rigor called out for him to stop. The over-grown brute of a lizard eyed her suspiciously. "Look. We'll let this guy's son go first that way if there's a firing squad, they'll shoot him first." A big grin washed over her face at the thought. The scientist was making his own choice by telling them freedom was out the door.. If it wasn't, his son would meet his fate, if it was, well, she'd drop the guy, cloak, and dash.

Without a moment to waste, the raptor swiped the card and Rigor hid behind the man's son and pushed him outward, cloaking herself as the door opened. The scientist behind them screamed, unable to communicate with the men on the other side fast enough.. But his cry went unheard, and his son's body literally played the role of a meat shield against the bullets as well as a small portion of Rigor's tail. The terrier only watched in horror as the dragoness carried out the man's death sentence giggling despite the bullet wounds..

Tezztor smiled as the guard got torn to shreds by the waiting firing squad. "Humanss, so predictable." he laughed as he rushed out of the door and rolled towards the gunmen as they reloaded their rifles. Upon finishing his roll he jabbed his claws into the first guard to reload his gun's neck, grabbed the gun and smacked the guard nearest him ready to fire. Without delay he opened fire on two more guards before grabbing on and pushing it in front of the last guard pulling the trigger. All in a matter of second he managed to nullify the squad, laughing in spite of them as he kicked the corpse at the last one and opened fire, killing him. He dropped the gun and clapped his hands together as if to remove the filth. "Took a split second longer then I anticipated, my time captive has dulled my senses" he mocked, despite his display of killing prowess. The room was surprisingly empy for the gateway to the complex and it unsettled him, though it did not come to any surprise that it was so weakly defended. "Humans and their guns, medicine and tactics. One day they will realize they are too arrogant of their system and change it. Maybe to our fortune that they are so rooted in their ways." he added as a matter of a fact, not really speaking to anybody in particular mostly just for the need to talk.

He made his way to the door and swiped the card again and the door swung open revealing the sparkle of twilight. Peering cautiously out of the door it appeared to be clear, they were out in the middle of nowhere. Only minor security awaited at the perimeter, nothing he couldn't easily get past and at the very worst dispose of. Without regards to the others he made his way out of the door, keycard in claw making his way towards a nearby vehicle.

A lone APC crossed the shattered highway, taking turns to avoid potholes or missing sections of the road. Shells of cars littered the highway, with skeletons inside and out. The vehicle traveled at a steady pace, intent on delivering it's payload onto the target. The 'payload' was Echo team of the new Hunter Division. Inside the soldiers readied their weapons and ammunition and prepared for a firefight.
"So Vinnie you're a vet from the war?" asked Donnie, the rookie on the team, he was as green as a Hunter could be with all the training, no combat experience from him, although he was chosen for the program for prime physical condition.
"Yes sir I was... was a helluva tough war to fight too, the French fought for every inch of land we took, they fought to the last man, but that wasn't enough to keep us from victory"
"Alright cut the chatter troopers, we're at the drop point" Said Sgt. Mckinley

The soldiers piled out of the APC, with Vince, the designated pointman going first, after signaling the all clear the rest of the squad followed.
"Manny keep the engine warmed up incase of trouble" Sargent McKinley.
Manny gave him a thumbs-up and shut the hatch. Dust swirled around the troopers, and the unknown would have the advantage in this visibility.
"Switch to thermal vision mode if you want to see anything" Vince flicked the switch on his helmet and he could see the body heat of the troops, and one unknown in the distance.
"Got a visual.... heat's fading"
"Roger let's move!"

Shots sounded from both the maching gun nests, occupants sliding dead onto the sandbags... gravel crunched as the resistance fighters jumped up and made their way, hastily across the open ground to the re-fueling depot. One of the large fuel tankers grond to a halt, one clean hole through the window and drivers head, the team parted around its large steel bulk, making their way past it to the fuel lines.

"team 2, rig the fuel lines.... we want this place a fireball... team 1, support the others, watch for snipers and keep low..."

Compact cases of dusty grey steel where hefted into place, opened up to reveal a tangle of wires and explosives...

"red, green, red... or green red, red?"

"shuttup Jhonsen, your supposed to be the demolitions expert here"

"just trying to provide a bit of humour boss... "

The first gunshot sounded across the scene, snow flurried in large eddies, obscuring vision... a spray of dark crimson across the gravel as one of the resistance troopers fell sideways...

"SNIPER!"

Kitt hit the ground hard, just as more gunfire joined in with the orchestra or zipping hot steel..... sporadic fire returned from the pinned down furs, a few shots connecting with the dark figures across the street...

"they flanked us! Jhonsen! get those explosives set now! the rest of you, cover him, return fire!"

The sound of crunching gravel and muffled breathing now overshadowed by the sharp tapping of submanchine guns, the furs split and dived for cover, returning to croushing positions, weapons raised to shoulders..... Kitt aimed his sights across  an open area, several figures caught running for cover, only partially obscurred by the howling winds and snow...
The ACP repeater spoke out with a cacophany of metallic ~thwaks~ two of the figures fell, sprawled in the snow, the others ducked down behind rubble and car shells....

"boss! we got hostiles on our six!"

Two corruscating beams of light cut through the thick snow, a light humvee spinning its wheels over the slushy, gravel road.... weapon tracking the furs positions....
A hail of gunfire raked the courtyard, several striking a nearby fuel tanker, hurling the beast of a vehicle into the sky along with a searing tongue of flame and thick smoke..... tires strugglling for grip on the ice the humvee turned the corner of the fuel depot....

"hah! love em toasted!"

The small jeep burst into flame, the small yet powerfull grenade finding its mark in the wheel arch.... carreering on the ice the humvee smashed into the side of the depot with a hollow clang and shower of sparks...

"sir! explosives set!"

"that already may be too late Jhonsen!"

The dragoness bolted out the door, passing over corpses and barely making it outside before the metal door slid shut again. There wasn't grass yet. Concrete. She continued on her way noticing the raptor going towards the vehicles. "Yeah, a raptor driving a military car after we just busted out, REAL inconspicuous!" She shouted. She was heading towards the trees. She had a better chance of hiding in the limbs, and if there were squads, she could pin them against one another and stay out of sight.

He kept his stance as he watched the metal-skinned komodo dragon, then he took a glance back to the base to see some events unfolding as they were talking, still one hand on pistol-grip and one hand on sword-hilt. "I don't claim ever being a soldier of any type... I am my own being." He spoke, slightly agitated that he was referred to as a "fellow soldier".
