So, today I attempted to pass the CompTIA A+ Certification exam. I can honestly say that this was by far the hardest test/exam I have ever taken. The maximum score is 900. To pass, you need to score a 675. I made a 608. The rest of my computer maintenance class took the exam too, teacher included. Out of the entire class, none of us passed. The highest score was a 634. Second best was 619. Then, my buddy & I tied for 3rd with 608. My teacher scored a 564. A few of us came close to passing, but we still fell short.
Now, if I could legally, I would tell you what you would need to know. But, I signed a legally binding contract that has silenced me on the materials of this test.
If I had passed this exam, I would be getting out of college making $60,000/year. Not bad for the age of 18, eh? I do plan to take this exam again, seeing as how I'm familiar with the material for it. Before I take this exam again, I plan to study as much as possible on the test material. I would love to be certified in A+ technology.
Sooo.... Yeahhhh....
tl;dr: I failed and plan to take said exam again.
