I don't think its a TREMENDOUS deal, but it does show how active you are. It should work, you know? =s
if you're really active, people are bound to know who you are no matter the post count.. i'd rather make 1-2 meaningful posts than 5000 two word posts like how a lot of the ones in "the person above you game" simply say "is correct"

i dont see that as activity personally.

Yes. It doesn't matter how many posts you have anyway. Your activity on the forums is determined by how long you're on, how well you get along with everyone, and pretty much the way you act on the forums. (If I'm not mistaken.)

Take your number of posts, find one tenth of that number and that's how many useful posts the average person has. Anybody can have a high number of posts, that does not define your contribution to the forum or how good those posts actually are.
